ABOUT US
The question we get most is, "how do you say your shop name?" The second most asked question is, "who is that?" To answer both, Mameem (Mah-meem) & Maudie (Maw-dee) were the beloved Great Grandmother and Great Aunt of owners, Leslye Tapp & Sherry Johnston. Leslye & Sherry recall countless memories of drinking sweet tea on their porch steps, buying office supplies at the local Five & Dime and enjoying a simpler time filled with love, family, sweet treats and even sweeter memories.

Leslye & Sherry decided to open Mameem & Maudie in 2015 in honor of these sweet and quirky memories built on a simpler time. We want everyone who comes into Mameem & Maudie to feel welcome, at home, and to have as good of a time as they did at Mameem & Maudie's!
As our tag line states, we have "a little bit of everything". From clothing and unique gifts, to sandwiches and ice cream, almost everyone can find something that interests them. And that is what we strive to be... A place that you will remember after you leave. No matter who you are or where you come from, you will feel comfortable and at home just like Mameem & Maudie made you feel.
